Default Dyno-ed my car today. Part 2

I took my car back to ATS Racing today. Their computer would not talk to its printer, so I did not get a print out.

The third run was 109.4 whp and 100.7 ft/lbs of torque.

    In part 1, I had 99.6 whp and 93.7 ft/lbs of torque.

Changes to the car were; timing bump to 14* BTDC, fuel filter, pcv valve, cleaned air filter, Mobil 1 in engine trans and diff, and Enthuza M1 budget racer cat-back exhaust.

Changes in weather; part 1 was at about 95*F and part 2 was at about 85*F.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

    Good increase in power Doug!

Are you able to adjust the timing in E-stock though?

I'd guess most of that power came from the temperature difference.

As slow as I am, I could run an all out CSP car in ES and none of my competitors would mind. DFL is DFL no matter what I drive.

I'm not sure, but I think the rules allow timing adjustment within the factory specs. I may have coughed at a critical time when I was attempting to adjust my timing to the max factory spec. Isn't the factory timing 4* BTDC plus or minus 10*?

I did not see anything in the rule book specifically about timing in regards to the Stock Class, so as long as it is in factory spec, then I guess your okay.

Yeah, the rule is that it must be in factory specs (whatever that is).

I recall And Hollis posting somewhere that factory spec is 10 deg +/- 1 deg.

    Made it right.

Well, maybe not. +/-1 it is.

ATSscott said he heard a little detonation, so he recommended that I backoff the timing or use higher octane gas. Guess what the TCB member is going to do?

Nice gains Doug. It's quite a bit harder to make power on these small motors than a v8.
