Crap, is jrj512 designing the course? I'd better make sure the clutch is bled, since we'll be going to 1st gear a few times...![]()

I would like 3 crossovers with 2 oval shaped skidpads and a figure 8 please. Preferrably 1 car on course every 3-5 minutes...so pretty much a normal ER event![]()
VW Bug in running shoes
M Porcupine sedan
M Porcupine coupe
Crusty old e46 beater
Battery Powered appliance car
I heard his surprise element is a figure-8 slalom.![]()
I'm trying to talk my son into this one. I was going to put a motor back together for a nephew's F-150, but he can wait another week.![]()
'08 Copper Red GT PRHT, '06 Accord EXL, '05 Dodge Magnum R/T, '01 V8 Dakota for pulling 2135 Chaparral.
Einsteins is across from Pennington I am told. C Ya tomorrow.
I learned this the hard way.....
Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.
Well that course took some skills and patience. I think the hardest part was the finish offsets. I sure would like to have tired it a couple of more times.
Looking forward to the ER double header weekend November 10&11. I think that is my favorite event of the year.![]()
Agree with you there! Very technical course... what really sucks is that on my two otherwise-perfect runs, I had 1 miserable screwup that cost me a really good time... first one was embarrassing understeer that nearly took me off the course
Oh well. Managed to eke out a 52.007, which I was pretty happy with.
09 Lexus RX350
.... no Miata
I think that was my favorite part.
It was great to hear many good reviews about the course. I was a apprehensive about the changes that might be requiredby ER, but working with Piper was great and he was as interested in trying to introduce the elements I was wanting. I would strongly suggest that everyone give this a try sometime. I only regret missing breakfast, as it is usually a good time.
It was a good day.
No, the bass boat's owner had a cranial-rectal inversion that made looking ahead difficult.
Foley and I ran 1st heat, while Jon and Kenny ran 2nd heat (although Kenny ran 1st heat in the afternoon), so Jon had the opportunity to see everyone else's times long before he took his last competition run. He did what he usually does in that case, which is drive just fast enough to win.
If you look at the Pax times, Jeremy was the fastest of the four of us, and he coned away a raw time that was more than half a second faster than anything else in B Stock. He also had missed shifts on two of his fastest clean runs. Yeah, raw times don't win races, but that's proof that the car's setup wasn't the problem this weekend.
As for me, I drove like crap. Whatcha gonna do?
