I thought blown sixes were now the rage for Sevens. Just kidding -- I think a Seven should have a four.

Effing sweet! But at $2300, I think I'd snoop around for some Konig Rewinds like I've got - they're allegedly lighter than the Panasports, but waaaaay cheaper...

    Technically this isn't an OTM.

I was referring to Todd's plan. His Seven will have large Miata content thus it's not an "Other Than Miata". Now if he was using a different donor car, I'd agree.

I'm sure we can work something out.

I have to admit... I am a little concerned about removing the airbags (read "Titus is a great big "). Help me with remove them both and the button is yours!

Removing airbags is easy. Just apply 12 volts to the right set of wires.

I can help you Titus. I've messed with my funbags, errr... airbags many times.

Thanks... I'm most concerned with the passenger side one, as I don't have the remotest idea how to get it out. I'm assuming that sticking my crow bar between the dash and the airbag cover is a bad idea?

    Easy.

    1. Remove glove box
    2. Unplug blue and orange connectors
    3. Remove (4) bolts under the dash that bolt to the bottom of the airbag module (14mm IIRC)
    4. Remove airbag module

The drivers airbag is (4) bolts on the back side of the steering wheel. It also has the blue/orange connectors.

Bring them to the Wednesday night GTG and we can get Wags to sit on them when we blow them.

As much as I want to do that, you'd be better off selling them.

I have the factory steering wheel with airbag from my car that I need to sell.

As well as most of the parts off of my parts car.
