Busted!

City of Allen got me.

The cop was in a stealth version of a Dodge Charger. V1 did me no good as he had paced me. He said he paced me at 85mph in a 65mph zone.

He ended up giving me a ticket for 80mph and a fix-it ticket for No Front Plate. The fee for anything up to 15mph over is the same so that's cool.

He said the NFP should be dismissed if I show up with one on the car. Time to fab a side-mount front plate bracket.

Sure I'm pissed but I'm not too mad. I finally got nabbed. Speed Tax. Ah well...

I'll see what the court has to say about the cost of deferred adjudication vs. Defensive Driving.

I saw that cop this morning on south bound 75 in front of the funeral home Just past 121. I called my wife and warned her, and she told me yesterday he gave her the slow down hand signal in her RX8. So be on the lookout for that charger, its easy to spot its all black with those typical cop wheels and heavy tinted glass, and spot light up front.
