Looking for a Wii I'd like to find one for a reasonable price the one listed below on Ebay seems a touch high.

But in all seriousness where can I find one of these Turkeys without having to sit outside overnight on the hope I'll get on of the few the store gets in....
I have seen them at wally world and Best buy every so often. Usually not more than 1 or 2 and they seem to be gone the next day. I dont think Nintendo is holding back, they are just selling really well. There isnt much reason to hold back, because the more they put in stores the more they sell. A short supply just raises the price on Ebay. It isnt like Nintendo can raise the price $100 because there arent many on store shelfs. This system goes across normal gaming lines. It appeals to kids and adults. I have heard there arent a ton of good games and after the novelty wears off people dont touch them much after that.
Yeah, my wife wanted one for her birthday. I found the same thing POS did. There's no way I'm paying 2x or 3x list for a video game system she'll forget about by March.

Here's one for $430 B-I-N on Ebay. How much do they retail for?

I'll be stopping by my local Wallyworld this evening... I'll give you a ring if they have any.
Most stores get their shipments on Tuesday morning. Check with your local GameStop or other retailer tomorrow morning. That is how a person I work with got hers a couple of weeks ago.

+1. I got my Wii on Black Friday last year by waiting outside of a gamestop at 2am. My brother and I had nothing better to do, so we decided we'd see if we could actually get one.
Same basic principle applies. Find a store that isn't in the most well-trafficked area of town (I used the one in Garland off of First St.) and call them to find out when they get their next shipment in. Then show up right before they open and profit. Most open at 7am, so get up for work a little early and make it a part of your commute for the day.
I paid 430 over to get one off CL. I lucked out and called the guy 1 minute after he put it on there. Had t drive to Arlington to get it, but i love. Tiger Woods 08 is a lot of fun

I saw another good pointer on finding the allusive Wii. Target and Costco. When most go searching, they focus on GameStation, Best Buy, and Walmart. Apparently Target and Costco often get just as big of allotments as Walmart without as many morning line waiters.
