Wouldn't it be easier just to slide your debit card down the slot?

No need for the correction. I believe that Magma's tongue was firmly planted in his cheek when he made his witty double entendre.

A floor drain would be more environmentally friendly than a sloping floor, if you have public sewer. Oil spills and such being washed down the drive and into the nearest creek would not be good.

OTOH, if you plan to have tech days, I'd do a floor drain and a regular bathroom.

    Isn't that a little redundant?

My suggestion is a 4th bay.

400 dollars for each extra 100sq feet of slab.....I think I am going to have to live with the 3 car extended depth garage. Lots of good ideas though.

Seriously, if I could design a garage from scratch I'd request enough "hidden" storage along one wall to store all of the unsightly garage detritus like the lawn mower, edger, wheelbarrow, shovels, bikes, etc. I envision a "fake wall" about 3 feet from the real wall with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors...

I'd also add a side access door from the garage to the yard for easy ingress/egress with the mower, etc. That way you can avoid using the garage door for everything and can keep dirt, clippings, isolated.
