    That's good to hear about Tire Rack. I can certainly see a concern over '05 tires being delivered in '07. I'm surprised that they have special storage, but at the same time I'm very glad to hear it. I wonder if Discount does the same thing.... ?

    The cutoff for me would be a couple of months. Tires purchased in January that were built anytime after late August I'd be OK with. Before that I'd start asking some questions and wanting a different set. Knowing how they're stored could definitely extend the amount of time I'd be willing to let them sit in someone else's warehouse.
    A Z06 is just like a Miata, but with the other half of the motor . . .

    I remember Mr. Fehn once telling me to throw out the coffee table. Tires in plastic bags should be stored in your living room. He's been doing this since the argument was lava or granite, so I believed him

    I have some extra heavy duty contractor trash bags if you need them, I think they are 3 mil thick.

    Thanks, but I'm not sure that I am a good enough driver for it to make a difference. I'll just stick with the normal bags.
