Default Good dealer to buy a new 3 from?

My daughter just graduated from Texas Tech and is going to buy a new 3. What dealers and / or sales person can any of you recommend?

I am about to buy a 3, too. I am going to pit D&M Leasing and Autoflex leasing against themselves and the dealer (probably tomorrow) to see who comes out the cheapest. The dealer in Hurst offered to beat the S-plan price if I bought today. I imagine that offer holds true through this month. Looks like I will be getting a 5-door Grand Touring in that electric blue.

If you go to the one in Hurst, I have been dealing with Leon.

Town North was great to deal with when we bought Robin's Mazda 3.

I bought my speed3 in Utah. Negotiated everything over the phone and email. Best dealer experience I have ever had. No Games! Flew into las vegas for $90 picked up the car in Utah and took one of the most fatastic drives back through the mountains and through the Grand canyon.

What a fantastic way to break in a car.

Well, mine is on hold. We could not come to agreement on the trade-in value, so I am going to sell privately and try it again.

Thanks for the info..........if she can ever make up her mind on a 4 door or a hatchback this deal might actually happen. Plus we have to wait until she gets the voucher for $3000 from the state for her trade in (96 Escort).
So far I only have 4 internet quotes.............El Dorado is $700 more than the lowest which is Freeman. I have not heard from Town North yet.

I bought my Miata there. Got a damn good price on it.

However, after the sale service sucked. They did an absolutely HORRID job on the respray of the trunk lid to fix scratches in the clear coat and they LIED about getting the aftermarket rims (that came on the car as a dealer add-on) fixed (one was dented)...

Buyer beware. They don't give a rats a$$ about their customers once they walk out the door.

Had I known this going in I would've still bought the car. It was marked WAY down. I would've just taken it elsewhere to get the problems fixed rather than be lied to and given crappy service.

Would I go back? No. El Dorado is struck off my list of dealerships.

Tell her to go for the MS3. Much more entertaining to drive.

    I agree with RJ 100%.

Service is shody at best. Salespeople are not that great and I didn't care for the treatment I received after the sale. I would not trust them to give me a good deal even if lived under the same roof as the sales manager.

I think the best thing to do in a competitive market (end of year on a common car) is to go to Mazda USA's website and call every internet sales manager in TX, OK, AR etc and tell them exactly what you want with the options you want and what you'll pay. Tell them you're calling every single dealer and are ready to buy from the first one that meets your price. Make them say yes or no within 2 minutes on the phone or hang up and call the next one.

It takes some patience and a bit of research but that's how I got 10 grand off the RX-8 when I bought it April 2006 when DFW dealers were giving 6K off max and the best I ever saw on RX8club was 8K off. I called about 20 dealers before finding one in San Antonio that would do the deal. Cost me a 1 way southwest ticket (70 bucks) and I drove it home a few days later after they finalized all the paperwork and had everything ready to sign when I got there.

We got the $3000 voucher from TX for her old car + her employer discount was about $500 better than any quote we had received.......so, we picked up her new 3 last night from Freeman.
