I don't know why Top Gear changed, but I always liked the Stig in black better.

Wow - you're smooth and your video was 10 sec quicker than the yin and yang of Stig video

    No wonder you had FTD

No one shows their first run.
That finish got a lot of people sideways. (cold tires)
I can say your other runs looked much better.

Nice run. Wish I would have brought the R-comps.

Have you had a lot of problems with your chase cam??? Last time I remember you posting a vid, there was a pretty big delay in the sound.

well here is the link to runs 2-5, the starter who liked to talk too much distracted me and I forgot to start the camera on run #1.

    Enjoy.
I learned this the hard way.....

Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.

Nice job driving, Brad. You really should try to hit as many of the Divisional events as you can, since they will have a Tire class in each.

It is not the Chase Cam. It is more an Apple issue converting things in a Windows world. Youtube does not like my Quicktime videos after they have been edited. It could be a QT thing. When you edit out the waiting in line to go video it crops the video ok but the sound is unpredictable when uploaded to Youtube. Works just fine as a QT file. Something happens in the Youtube/Google conversion process. (flash files) Example of the last video is the start of the video is blurred. Not like that on the originals. I uploaded a wmf file to finally get some sound. Again the camera does fine. I am not using the Chase Cam recorder.

For this event I think something got unplugged or I broke the microphone.

I like your side by side show. I have done that with National runs. I put all three runs side by side and compared. I have also compared side by side other drivers to see where one is faster than the other. As you know the sound tells the true story if you drove well or not. To me video without sound is worthless as far as a learning tool. That is why I will keep the RB exhaust as you can sure hear that!

Thanks for Sharing Brad. After working the corner with the pivot cone we all thought that we should have given the wider line a shot to see how that worked. It was good to see a few try it. There were a few that even tried a wider line into that corner.

So if 'moto is the Stig, does that make Cosmos the Stiglet?

Go play by yourself at the track, this is the Autocross events forum

General, my camera also uses quicktime and I found a program to convert the files back to MPEG and then edit and upload to google video or youtube and I find that works better.

Well my recorder uses ASF format. I use ffmpegx to convert to almost any format. Sometimes I have to adjust the audio channel to get the sound in some formats. I like free software solutions. I only have the QT editor. What do you use?

If you are editing QT on a mac, export it to MPEG 4 using the h.264 codec and things should be fine on YouTube. you can also ann 1-2 seconds of black to the beginning to keep everything smooth, or just send me your videos.

Thanks for the suggestion. I think I have tried the h.264 codec but it seems like the quality was poor. But I will make a note to try to do that next time.
    Thanks
