last year of NA price??

Just out of curiosity, what is the most I could hope to see for my car if I sold it myself? Its a clean 93 (last year of the 1.6) miata convertible and hardtop with the electric defrost, all tires are new, purchased within the past 8 months, no mechanical problems whatsoever, adult owned, and VERY expensevely-that a word? o well- maintained at Town North Mazda (not talking shit, their work is great but their prices are high). Its a really clean car and is all original, and I could post pics if it would help you guys suggest what I should set the asking price at. Timeframe wise, I would like to sell it in a month.

Speaking generally, the best time to sell convertibles is the first warm week of spring.

If your car is in truly excellent condition, your best $$$ will be a listing on miata.net with lots of high quality photos. If you want to sell fast, somewhere between $2500 and $3500 (+$800 for the hard top as a separate item) will probably grab buyers on this board, but we're cheap bastards.

And if it's a black & tan, I get first dibs.

154,000 miles, but the glovebox is full of reciepts from the past 12 months (almost $2,000 dollars in maintenance) the entire clutch bracket was replaced at dealer with safety switch, the entire ignition had to be replaced -that was $550 alone, all 4 brand new kumhos, oil changes every 2k, fuel filter, wheel bearing, etc. the car drives smooth. And sorry its not black and tan (i wish) its red and black. I would like to sell it for the most I can or find a good trade for it, somethin with a little more interior room. I'm pretty tall and am starting to do alot of long distance highway driving.

Given the age & mileage, the documented services that buyers will be concerned with are:

date & mileage of:

• clutch replacement
• timing belt
• water pump
• belts & hoses

Most anything else isn't really a value-add.
