Buy Billy's Falkens, that's as cheap as you're going to get and a good touring tire.

Well, my car wont pass inspection with the current tires so it's time to get new ones. Any recommendations? I'm not looking for racing tires, more like touring tires.
It has BFGoodrich G-force Sport 195/50 R15 82V on it right now, should I just stick with that?
Thanks!!!

I love my Toyo Proxes4 - they've been great all-around and still have plenty of life with almost 20K miles on 'em.

If I take my car and the tires (like they'll fit in my miata) to discount tire will they put them on?
Billy if you see this can you PM me or email me or something if you still have these? That thread has been locked. $150 sounds like an incredible bargain if I can get some direction on how to get them onto my car! Probably a pretty stupid question...but I usually just take my car in, pay a bill, and drive away with new tires...

Two on the passenger seat, standing up and pointing in the direction of travel. Move that seat all the way up and straighten the seatback. Now there's a spot for a third tire behind that seat. Fourth tire can sit on the back deck, sliding into your right shoulder on right hand turns. (Voice of experience.)Originally Posted by cArAzzIE
Discount Denton said they would charge me $25 a wheel! :o
I told them where to go and never been back.
I pay 10 dollars a wheel to the shop I deal with now.

Other side of the world! Denton!
I'm sure there are tire shops there in McK/Allen.
Discount over there may do you right, give them a call.
$10 is cheap, but you don't have to pay $25 either.
I only pay $10 mount/balance per tire, too. Just seek out one of the little ex-gas-station-turned-tire-shops in your area. Usually immigrant-owned and sell used tires.
Si... plus uno on that. Those guys are pretty much everywhere.
There's a guy I use over on Harry Hines near Forest in North Dallas (Affordable Wheel & Tire) - nothing fancy, but he only charged $10/wheel last I used him.
He's also matched Tire Rack prices for me in the past... and thrown in the mount/balance for free (YMMV, of course).
