Fox 4News keeps running the same clip of an AA flight landing in the wind today, tossing around in the winds.
Too bad Boeing didn't include pucker sensors in the seats cause I'd bet the folks on that flight would've set a new record.
I was behind an 18 wheeler on 183 on an overpass today when a big gust cocked him at about a 20 degree angle. He hit his brakes, then the same gust hit me and pushed me into the next lane.
There's still a pucker mark in the seat of the red Miata.

And suddenly I am glad that I took the bus to school instead of driving myself. But it did die down a bit by the ~4:30PM time I go to school.

Usually, The pucker sensor activates first before the "Oops I crapped my pants" sensor comes into play.
IIRC, that is also the sensor that deploys the airbags.

A quick search on the internet reveals that, surprisingly, nobody has actually invented the pucker sensor yet. This is surprising, when you think of the many possible applications.
So it looks like it's off to the Patent office for me!
