    Default vented hood

I am thinking about adding vents to the hood or finding a vented hood. Any old hoods for sale, very cheap, I could experiment with? Recommendations for vented hoods?

Ken, it would benefit you to start frequenting miataturbo.net. All of your questions can be answered by guys who have experience with turbo miatas.
Lots of guys build DIY turbo kits and have DIY hood vents and other DIY mods. It's a great resource!

    P.S. They ban stupid people.

I had to slow down several times due to heat too, but my last track session last June at MSR with the SPAL fans, I never saw over a 101 on the key pad. I never saw if you have a belly pan or not, but it's necessary. Give Gary at trackdog a call about the extra pieces he sells to seal the mouth. They're not on his website.

That came out wrong. Sorry, man.

I'm referring to how the moderators will ban people if they are stupid newb's or just if an individual pisses off the administrator, phillip.

I wasn't referring to you as being a stupid person. You ask intelligent and meaningful questions that others learn from, as well.
