It's hard to keep up with the Miatamotos. They're just too trendy.

Seemed to be a touch brighter and light up the road a bit more than the OEM's so I guess it was a worthwhile expenditure.
C'mon fess up. I saw a +1 on your first run.

Plus I find any new bulb to be brighter than the one I'm replacing. I mean if I'm replacing a pair because one is dead, the used-but-still-works bulb is definitely dimmer than a new bulb. YMMV.

I just added a HID kit to my Moss Lo-Pros and all I can say is WOW!!!!

It's like daylight. All the other headlights on the road look yellow in comparison.

BTW, The Moss kit has a proper cut off so I'm not blinding people.

Details? I have an extra pair of ballasts and I was thinking about getting some cheap Ebay HID bulbs and throwing them in the Miata.

I just got a H9 kit from this guy on eBay.

The quality seemed to be very good but likely a Chinese knock-off. For $75 vs. $300+ for the name brand kits I decided to take a shot. The install was straight forward and easy. We'll see how well it lasts but if a bulb or ballast goes out, I can now just replace that part.

They're all Chinese knockoffs. I understand the headlights are a sealed beam so how did you install the HID kit into them?

I have the Moss Lo-Pro kit that uses Hella Projector units with a separate H9 bulb.

So, now that you've had more time with them, would you buy them again?
