Thread: A few pics of recent progress.

Default A few pics of recent progress.

I'm happy with how the car is turning out. I've finally got that same happy feeling walking out to the garage that I had when my NB was "finished". Not a whole heluva lot left to do, aesthetically. Needs a roll bar and then it's time to get working under the hood.

I finally saw your build thread on CR... VERY nice work! When it cools off we'll have to make another C&C run.

Very very nice and clean. I especialy like the interior without the center console. Tempting to rip mine out but I need to get all new carpet thoughout mines been hacked to pieces by POs under the consoles and whatnot.

Thank you! The center console isn't just removed...it's replaced with an aftermarket carpeted console by Nakamae. There are some DIY's on M.net on how to make your own. Honestly, if you can find some carpet that matches the factory carpet in your car, fabricating one should be really easy with a bit of skill. I've seen people use a spare parcel shelf carpet to craft a piece like this.

The window switches are about to undergo a slight redesign based on a suggestion by Jason (modernbeat). He had a great idea on how to clean it up. I have a fresh sheet of polished stainless ready to get hacked up :)

Tell me about those window switches. I can't seem to keep a working window switch for more than 3-months at a time.

When are you putting a VVT swap in it? That car needs 150whp all motor.
