I was wondering if that would happen

If I ever have the chance, I'm doing that swap as a "Because I Can" thing!

After seeing that LS NB at the Gap, I am wanting one more and more.

That thing was so clean, and stock looking.
Didn't even have duals, but he couldn't hide that burble.
all it was missing was the engine cover, painted classic red.

I am having the same crazy thoughts, except, I want to put a flathead in the "T".

The plan hasn't gone that far yet, but he's fallen for FM's "Elvis" and wants to build something similar.

Hmm if you are serious we may need to talk. I've got the car, the funds and just down the page I saw a motor....I just don't have the space. I have been really close to pulling the trigger on this project anyway.

Bought it from a local guy off the LS1 tech board. He had his personal Camaro with a Pro Charger in the garage......He was parting out a complete 99 Z28 and the drivetrain was about all he had left besides some interior trim. He was asking $3k and I got it for $2700, trans is still bolted to the motor which is still bolted to the crossmember. Most wrecking yards want $3500 or more it seems so I jumped on it. I just bought it in September (had a wild hair)... I was thinking about doing my NB but don't know if I will get around to it anytime soon. Motor is complete with harness and ECM, the power steering pump is broken. Also the bottom of the oil pan is broken, looks like the motor / trans was sat on a bolt or nut.....since the pan has to come off for modification (in the kit I was looking at) it didn't bother me cause it would be an easy fix. He claims it has an LS6 intake but I do not know how to tell. He also stated the mileage was around 80k but the car was gone. He seemed like a straight up guy, married with a kid, he is into Camaros like we are into Miatas.

do the 4-cylinder hot rod, but make sure you have a 3' long downpipe and nothing more.
