Default Who's going to Texas Drift?

Just thought I would check to see who all might be going to the drift event this month. It's the last one of the year so I will be there. The date is Nov. 14th at Mineral Wells.

14s won't go around the brakes on my car...

I've got a set of nice tall crappy 205/50-17s sittin in the garage I could throw on the stock wheels to destroy... but then I wouldn't have any tires to get home on... Grr...

Hey fwmiata do you guys have any control arm braces by chance? At least the rear one maybe. I haven't had the time to go and get material to make my braces that I want. Tell Chris if he's a real man he'll be there. HAHAHA

no we dont have any braces, yet, my car doesnt even have any either...stupid 96 base model.... i dont even think it has the one on the front across the back of the front subframe... i have been thinking of how to make a ladder brace though that ties the whole car together, similar to this... http://members.fortunecity.com/jasoncuadra/id51.htm

edit, eric, i didnt realize that the back brakes were that much bigger that the 14's wont fit on the back only... it might look tacky, but running 2 differnt sizes is feaseble...

Actually... I dunno? They might fit ove rthe rear brakes... They're smaller than the fronts. I know only certain 15s will even fit on the front, but I dunno about the rear... I might have to try some and find out?

Okay just wanted to get a possible head count of who might be there. I'll be there, already gathered up four extra tires and wheels. I understand there is even a Miata coming all the way from San Antonio. Should be a decent turn out from what I have heard.

FYI, if any of you drifters need some tires to burn, I've got four 195/50-15 Yokohama ES100s sitting in my garage. All have between 2 & 3/32nds of tread left, and they're free to the first guy who comes and hauls them away.
