Thread: PC first timer!

  1. #1

    Talking PC first timer!

I cracked open the PC (Meguiar's G110) this morning and started to redo Vivid's car.

Washed it with the Menzerna Auto Shampoo which seemed to work great!

Then I read all XM_Rocks posts again and also consulted all the paperwork I got as well as the Classic Motoring Accesories Website. It's nice having a computer in the garage!

Then I fired up the PC with a white constant pressure foam pad, (I had an orange pad but figured since I was a first timer I'd run using Classic Motoring accessories recommendations, plus the paint on Vivid's car was in good shape or so I thought.)

Used the Menzerna Final Polish II, this stuff was fantastic, I was amazed at how well it cleaned the car up. I thought it was already clean but was I wrong! Biggest difference was on the nose and the hood!

    Take a peek.

So that gets me through two steps of a four step process! I have an afternoon commitment so I'll start again on it when I get back!

Hey XM_Rocks how do you clean in and around the emblems? I really can't get the paint in the front and rear emblems as good as I would like.

I always use painters tape to mask them off and go over them.

OK now step 3 is done, I used the Menzerna Finishing touch glaze. The color just popped and now after Polishing and Glazing 95% of the scratches and imperfections that were in the paint are gone! Simply amazing stuff!

Well the drizzle yesterday kept the cars in the garage so no new pictures, got both Miatas done and they looked great!

Then this morning I watched Vivid tear down the street in the rain.....

The '99 is in it's protective bubble waiting for the sun to shine.
