    The drive home from work was interesting to say the least! The highways were fine but as soon as I hit the surface streets I learned that Toyo T1-Rs suck as snow tyres! Especially when they're well worn!

    1st gear, wheel spin
    2nd gear, wheel spin
    3rd gear, wheel spin
    4th gear, wheel spin!

    Finally got going. Go a 1/4" to far on the throttle and the car started going sideways.

    Two blocks to go...

    Pulled into the driveway and had to fishtail it up the driveway and into the garage. VROOOOOM!
    ...and across the line.

    I have about 2.5" accumulated on the Miata. Unfortunately it isn't sticking well to the road, so it's not fun time yet

    I was hoping we'd get some serious ice around here

    The final accumulation here in McKinney is about 4" on the cars. But with all the wrecks on Central this morning, I'm going to stay here and work from home today.

    I had about an inch or so on the Miata last night, but all the snow melted pretty much when the sun came up.
