Interesting article on the Cougar Ace
You may remember the Cougar Ace, the transport ship that rolled onto its side while carrying a load of Mazdas to the US? Wired magazine has published an article about the crew that righted the ship - it's a pretty interesting read. It IS an article about sailors, though; so if the occasional f-bomb troubles your delicate sensitivities, beware.

Interesting story, but I was kind of let down in the end. I agree with one of the comments that this could be a good movie, but then they would add in a romance or something. Julia Roberts would be a Coast Guard chopper pilot that was once in love with the guy that now heads up Titan, played by George Clooney. During the operation, they rekindle their love, make love in a Miata, and the the final scene of them in each others arms on the stern of the ship as it sails off into the sunset.
That one guy looks like BJ from *M*A*S*H*
