Question Who do you let work on your baby?

    Hi guys,

I moved to Texas last year and I'm stilling trying to get acquinted with the area. My baby needs an oil change and someone to look at a clunking noise (pretty sure it's the bushings). Who can you guys recommend not too far from Irving/Las Colinas area? I'm ok with taking it to a dealer.

    Thanks!

Steven Boyd @ Miata Solutions would be my #1 choice to work on my Miatas.

Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).

Ditto on Steven at Miata Solutions. I would not hesitate at all to have him work on mine again. Very satisfied.

+1 for Rogue at Miata Solutions. I am very pleased with the work he has done on my car.
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

Shinsen1113 Glad to see you stopped by our part of the web. Rogue would be my first choice, and the drive to his shop is always fun

Why doesn't this guy get any props?

He is a few minutes down the road from me... reading the thread he seems to have made an effort last year to reach into our community.

    Full disclosure - I am a recovering VW/Audi nut.

Mainly not a lot of feedback from anyone here is more than likely the key factor. Go give him a try and report back!

Well, he just got done building a Spec Miata for Keith Vergas. And he does alot of work with Bob from Wheels America, and went to the 25hr with them. People who race Spec Miatas and want to have the best mechanic in support use David. He chiefs about 4-5 cars out of Keith's villa at MSR whenever there is a SM race. He is DAMN GOOD at working on just about any car, and he will give the best price. Also, he is expanding into aftermarket parts, so if you need that, he can get it.

Thanks for the advice. I'll let you know how it goes.

Maybe some day I'll make to a Wednesday get together.
