Oh noes... who is going to help me with my rollbar when I get one?
Let me look around today and try to find you a deal.
OK POS, XMRocks or anyone else knowledgeable,
What's the best deal on a good kit? I'm looking for the PC and any appropriate pads, polishes and maybe even instructional DVD.
What do you recommend?

Ok I looked around and none of the kits offered look good.
They are too heavy on the Polishing Pads (no corrective pads) and no Menzerna or Clay... plus they are around $199.
Here is what I would buy:
From Coastal Tool:
Pads and Porter Cable
Product Number Product Quantity Price Per Unit Weight Per Unit Total
PORT7424 6" POLISHER W/6" CNTRWEIGHT 1 $ 99.00 9.00 $ 99.00
LAKE78-5165-152M 6-1/2 YELLOW PAD 1 $ 9.95 0.25 $ 9.95
LAKE78-2165-152M 6-1/2 ORANGE PAD 1 $ 9.95 0.25 $ 9.95
LAKE78-9165-152M 6-1/2 BLUE PAD 1 $ 9.95 0.25 $ 9.95
Coastal Tool Total $ 128.85
From Proper Auto Care:
http://www.properautocare.com
Menzerna Acrylic Jacket 32OZ - MEN-AJ32 - (will do around 12 cars and last 6 months) - $29.95
Menzerna Intensive Polish - MEN-IP16N - Medium Paint Correction - $15.95
Menzerna Power Gloss - MEN-PG16 - Heavy Paint Correction - $16.95
BLACKFIRE PolyClay II Kit (huge clay bar and lube) - BPC-KIT - $19.97
Proper Auto Care Total: $82.82
GRAND TOTAL $212.67 plus shipping
This will beat any $200 kit out there and these supplies should last for 3-5 years at least.... probably more if you arent a PC whore like me.![]()
Proper Auto Care does "specials" every once in a while I got my Meguires G110. It was like 10% off plus free shipping!
Ya just got to google around for the best deal!
BTW. On the pads I went with Item #: OEMPP-KIT

Are they Zaino compatible?
Im sure they have a section on the Zaino website on how to use that Zaino by hand or with a PC or even a circular polisher!
My new fav Menzerna has this cool PDF file that shows you how to use the products!![]()
Klasse also has a good write-up = http://www.superiorcarcare.net/klass...ion-guide.html
Thanks XM Rocks for finding the best deals! I think I will help out the economy by spending my "economy stimulating check", courtesy of our "fearless" president, on the PC and the stuffs.
Gabriel
You can borrow my Porter Cable to use on your car...
...if you're feeling adventurous.
