Default Seeking help and a place to do my 60,000

Anyone got time and space to help me do 60,000 on my NB? I have the parts all in my possession from Trussville and I will probably be picking up fluids locally. I am still struggling with some debts, so I can offer to buy a modest amount of food and booze to whoever would like to have me over and help me wrench.

Drop a reply or shoot me an IM, I am free this coming weekend and that's about as much as I know so far.

Thanks in advance to anyone who replies!

Are you talking about the timing belt service?

Thats the prior VW owner talking... 60K or else on the TBelt.

Since it is non-interference on a Miata not a biggie if it breaks.

Just wanted to clarify with the OP what he needed done.

Big board link suggests it at 60K... however this could be for the 1.6?

I have no space to offer, but can certainly stop by to potentially help after 3:30p or so on either weekend day.

You might not want too much of my help, though, as my first t-belt service ended up taking three tries over two days and as many garages.
I still have that stupid gasket, too...somewhere....

Because CARB requires a minimum service interval of 100,000 miles on anything that could effect emissions. Your government is here to protect you...

Yeah I was getting an ad for sexy singles.

    So much for Google customization...

    1) I am married thus no need for a personals site.

    2) I am smart enough to know the sexy women that appear on the banner ad would not have personal ads on the site.

    3) Even if said women had ads on said personal site I couldnt afford what they would charge.

    Default Maybe here in Allen

I don't have shop manual, timing light, or experience but I have a garage and some tools if you're looking for workspace. If Carazzie doesn't mind.

I think the 'standard' 60K maint is timing belt and water pump replacement. Maybe replace the valve cover gasket.

Gaskets, hoses, belts, water pump, and wise preventative stuff basically. Mainly cause it doesn't seem the previous owner took any care of the NB as the days pass by.

I can pitch in some labor, if the timing to right. I have a timing light and a manual I could bring.

I am free this Friday and Sunday. All I would probably need to do is get coolant, gear oil, diff oil locally before rolling up. I know there's one thing I need to pick up, but it's not coming to mind... I will probably be able to take an image of it or something when there's more light out.
