Texas A&M Autocross 2/10/08
Okay, it is starting to get pretty bad here -- I need a race! I cannot make the San Antonio race next weekend because I will be in Salt Lake City, but I would like to hit the Texas A&M Sports Car Club event on 2/10 in College Station. Who else is interested? We can just meet at the same McDonald's in Hearne at 7 AM.
So, who's interested?

I may be wrong, but I THINK that the TAMSCC 2/10 event has a school and practice the day before on Saturday 2/9.
I went both days last year and had a great time.
LOTS of seat time on Saturday so it's a good way to shake down the car to get ready for ER on 2/24.

ES, to try out the R-comps before ER.
Two weeks out, so it's time to start making plans.
The event is at the Riverside Annex again. Keep in mind that it there will also be an SCCA Divisional event at this venue later this year, so this would be some good practice for those not familiar with the place. Also remember that there will be a Tire class for the Div event, so even if the A&M club does not have a Tire class, you can still use this for practice for the Div event.
I was thinking that we could meet at 7 AM at the Golden Arch Café in beautiful Hearne, TX on 906 S.Market (Hwy 6).
So, who wants to throw their hat in the ring?
Haven't been there since spring of '06 but the A&M bunch always put on a good event.
The Annex surface is a bit different than some surfaces. If you're "jonesin'" for some seat time you ought ta go!

I will be there for the A&M event, but Lee is going to have to miss it. I need to get my SCCA and ER memberships taken care of here soon.

I learned this the hard way.....
Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.

POS Racing, put this in your little GPS thingy so you can get us there after the event.
They close at 2 PM on Sundays.
