    Default Sunday drive

So yesterday we replaced the brakes, just in the nick of time BTW, on xm_rocks car. Trickyrix supervised the tricky portion of getting the springs and clips back in their proper place on the fronts. Mine needed doing also, so I brought new pads, brake fluid, tools, jackstands etc...Everything I needed. Except for the key for the stupid wheel locks so that project has been saved for another day. Then we headed down to Ennis for some good mexican food, only to find that it was closed, either for Sunday or maybe permanently, who knows? After snagging some Chicken Distress, we headed east for some spirited driving on the winding farm roads, occasionally slowing down for the 5mph bluebonnet gazers and gawkers not to mention the sleepy basset hound in the middle of the road.

We then exercised our Second Amendment rights repeatedly until our supply of cans all lay at the bottom of Red Oak creek. Also chased away some mouth breathing trespassers unfamiliar with the concept of private property and the meaning of "fence". Another twisty trip on FM813, fantastic views and scenery, over to Palmer and then back to the metromess. Great day!

Yeah, those were some great roads down there, and that land is quite a sight to see. The white trash menage a trois was high comedy. How many teeth you think they had between them?

Very good times! Thanks again guys!

Look carefully at the first picture of trickyrix car. Just in front of the wheel you can see the reflection of a bearded guy with a halo.

Your first pic was taken after I ejected the clip and it went into the weeds.

I guess that means Jesus was with us even though his restaurant was closed.

BTW, I wish we had a picture of Andy consulting with the WT threesome, trying to explain the concepts of "trespassing" and "fence" - I think I heard him say those words 5 or 6 times each.
