As much as I would have liked to get one of those cars for CHEAP, I think Mazda did the right thing. If those cars hit the gray market it would have been big trouble later on.

Automotive scrap is going for about $600 a ton at the moment. That's roughly what a used Mazda is worth, so I don't think the insurers are losing that much.![]()
