One eye Billy
For the last 3 weeks i have thought there was something in my eye, like a eyelash.
Had Katt look at it and she saw nothing so I flushed it and it would go away and come back untill day before yesterday.
It started hurting in the corner then started to swell and is almost swollen shut today.
Went to the eye Dr. and he says i have either Strep or Staff in my eye.
He says these germs live in everyones eye but don't usually do anything.
Mine got into a clogged gland and that's where the trouble started.
He put me on antibiotics and steroid cream for the swelling yesterday so i figured today would be worse but wow!
Anyone ever had this happen to them? I spent 15 years in the optical business and never heard of it, mostly people get ulcers from leaving contacts in too long but with the new strain of Staff in the country I am a little more than uneasy about it. and it's my good eye....without it I cant drive.
