    Default Dfw Elite

Got an email notice in my box today from a favorite seller. Since many of you on this forum are driving enthusiasts I thought I'd share this with you.

DFW Elite is an outfit that rents exotic cars and they frequently auction these packages on Ebay. Last summer I did the Drive Your Dream "Every Mile a Memory" tour and had a blast. It was worth every penny and makes a lifetime memory. Here's a link to our groups photos:

For those who don't know me I'm wearing the turquois shirt and royal blue baseball cap. Had to buy the cap that morning at a gas station since all five cars were convertibles. They made two substitutions, the classic 65 vette and the Lotus Elise were replaced by a Porsche Covertible Carerra and a CO5 Corvette. The Lotus was leased for the month as a corporate perk to some lucky employee of the month and they didn't say why the 65 vette was replaced. It was still back in the garage.

I can offer more details and/or impressions of the cars and drive if anyone's interested. You can buy a spot at their website or you can wait for an auction on Ebay. I was out of town this week and unfortunately their last auction has ended. However, they will post more auctions later. Here's a link to the last auction.

This would be cheaper than my method of "buy a dream" and "sell a dream".

Maybe Elite would be interested in a supercharged Miata.

Ron Sturgeon is the owner and he seems to prefer American and European cars. He didn't have any Japanese cars at the time. I would've liked to try an NSX.

LOL, looks like a typical SS grid at a SCCA event. That's a lot of money to pay for a bunch of fairly attainable cars and not even 1 F car or real exotic

Consider it done. You just get your little heart set on it and ol' JRJ512 will come through for you.
