We can try that..when we rent the lot, we rent all the parking lots there.

    Want to design the course?

I might be able to design a course for it. Let me look into it.

BTW, Clay, I am always open to designing courses. It is just a matter of comitting to PCA events now that the has come down on me about too much racing. I will let you know when I sign up for an event to see if you want me to submit a design.

I don't know if anyone is interested but I saw some kind of non-school event going on at the Mesquite stadium a while back. I don't know if the place is for rent or not, maybe I shouldn't even post this but it looks like a good site for AX. About 40 acres of asphalt. No light poles.

I am ALWAYS interested in finding new venues for us to run. Do you have any contact info?

How'd y'all get Birdville ISD on board? Would Mesquite ISD have an analogous contact?

Better let jrj512 do the design work. He has developed extra thick skin, and is immune to shame and humiliation. The rest of us Miata pilots are just mere mortals.

Nah - he had those traits when I met him and that was before he designed his first course.

Since the PCA events do not run Junior Karts, I was able to decrease the hard-object tolerence to 25' for more room. This course generally follows SCCA safety rules (sans karts) with a little safe bending. Definitely a Miata course.

I was shooting for September 21st, but that isn't going to work. PCA has a DE that day, so we have to reschedule. I am going to try for October 5th. I will keep y'all posted.

I like Miatas.. a white Miata with the top down and two guys with white helmets on remind me of the little cars in the Milton Bradly game "Life".
