A buddy of mine is selling this MR2. It's about as light as they come, hardtop (very rare), no power steering, no abs. Would make a great cheap autox car and a better daily driver than a miata:

But Davidss, those MR2's are always exploding their clutch plates and cracking their wheels! How can that be a better daily driver?![]()
What's left of a '96 Miata with stock clutch.
My car exceeds my driving ability. That's the only possible explanation.
So have you gone on the BMW, Corvette, Porsche and Yugo forums to let them know that this MR2 with over 200k miles on it is for sale and is a "better daily driver" than their cars too? Here's a little book you should read:
Chapter 1
Don't go on someone's forum and insult their car...

Haha. As soon as I saw that "beter daily driver" line I knew what I'd see as I scrolled down.
Having owned 4 MR2's myself - I can honestly say that the MR2 is not a better daily. It's pretty much the same. With the exception of the MR2 Spyder which is a worse daily due to its lack of a trunk.
That being said - I'd probably rather daily drive a stock, n/a MR2 than my modified Miata. But that's only to keep the miles off the Miata. If only I didn't have a baby on the way :) This looks like a nice one.

Is the '92 more like a '91 or a '93?
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
