Where's it gonna be? Fillmore Pub at 8:30? Sounds good to me. I'll be the guy with the bright orange helmet (used for walking to and from the short school bus).

Where on 15th? Is it on the end near the DART tracks? The place with the outdoor seating?

Go East on 15th and turn right, right after the RR tracks. The Fillmore is right on the corner.

Her answer- The first waitress accidentally closed out mine, but someone else at the table left without paying and since there ticket was open, "it would make her life easier if I just took that one". I just wanted to leave, so I said FINE. It was around 11 when she finally brought me my card back and I was able to leave. Beyond that, the place is just too loud to hold a conversation with anyone more than 3 feet from you.

Yea they screwed up Gary's check too. The girl kept saying she was there since 10 am and was ready to go home and then she didn't even leave the parking lot till almost 11:30. She shoulda stayed on and finished our table out instead of handing it off.

+1 on the noise too. Had hard time hearing ppl right next to me.

I like it okay but agree that it is too loud.

    Where to next?

At least she didn't blatantly refuse to bring you anything... But that's ok... I needed to go home and dress my head injury anyway... Slept well last night for some reason!

That's what happens when you order "off the menu".

+2 on the noise and the check screwup. She got my bill right, but tried to guilt me into paying for someone else's food and drink. Sorry, not my problem.

Let's try Kellers drive in. Either the one at Northwest Highway or the Harry Hines location.

Keller's reminds me of scenes from "Happy Days" - guys with raging hormones racing the engines of their big V-8 muscle cars trying to be the "baddest"...

So yeah, Kellers is a good idea! :)

A good Miata turn out might even draw a little crowd of non Miata owners drooling with envy.
