If Nevada is on Farmer's Electric Co-op, you should see a big decrease in your energy bills. We went from $400-500 monthly electric bills the summer of '05 in the old place on TXU to $200-300 peak summer energy bills in the new place, which has almost twice the square footage (and a 22' ceiling in the living room).

That's not as much fun.... But yes the Attic is on the short list.

My daughter is in a huge "green" mode, she is working to make us more efficient figured this would be a way to see if her efforts were paying off.

So far we have upgrade several appliances to energy star appliances, switched 99% of our lights to CFL lights, added an attic fan, and have bumped the thermostat up to near unpleasant levels......

Now, if you would just stop racing that car that spews hate onto mother earth. You should feel so guilty, because after all, green people are better than you are....

I am waiting for the list of utility companies. I requested it yesterday so I can start setting up service. No Fios, but there is pretty good wireless service out there.
