I have 2 16 foot "pods" that were delivered to the new house this morning. I have unloaded 1 by myself (with the exception of a rolltop desk I can't move alone). Of the stuff that came out of the first pod, about a third is now sitting in the garage and needs to go inside, a third is sitting at the bottom of the stairs, and a third has made it to its final destination. I am out there now working on the second pod, but all the large 2 person items are in that one so I may not get far until I get some help. I am pretty sure at least 2 guys will be showing up to help later, but the more we have the faster it will go.
That would be the one guy that actually shows up.

Big thanks to Nails, Magma, and motorollow for coming out and lending a hand. We managed to get both pods emptied and all of the 2 person items are in the final resting places. I think someone started to cry when we got to the back of the second pod and found the pool table slate and the pinball machine.
I still have a bunch more boxes to move in from the garage and stuff to go up the stairs, but that should all be stuff I can do by myself over the weekend.
Sorry I missed out, but I couldn't skip my bike ride tonight lest I get dropped on Saturday... And it's really bad form to get dropped when leading the ride.

Sorry I couldn't make it - I ended up leaving the office about 8pm last night, and decided that I needed a cold beer and a hot shower after helping the guys on the floor route hydraulics most of the day.
