Ah ok. The weekend of the divisional is tax free shopping weekend it was super hard to get sunday off, I for sure could not get saturday off. I might be out of the 31st also, its my Dad's birthday. . .

Is there going to be a regular SCCA event this month? I don't have regular internet access, and I have been going by the pocket schedule in my wallet, so I thought this weekend was going to be a regular event.

Entry late fees start to apply next week folks.

Last we heard the Divisional Steward wasn't going to let us (Texas Region) waive late fees this year!

I know most of you "T" tire class guys are on this forum. I was really hoping that the tire class would fill-up a bit more from our region (since we pushed the idea for you guys to the Division).

If you plan on entering the Divisional, it's time!!

One more note about the Aug 15th - 17th Divisional.

If you are planning to purchase additional meal tickets for the Saturday Party, please let me know ASAP, so we can let the caterer know a head count!

We had originally advertised $15 per extra meal ticket, but have reduced that to $10 like last year.

That's a VERY good deal & Texas Region Solo is picking up the difference that the meal + beverages cost!


You may pay for the additional tickets when you go thru Registration, but we need to know if you are planning to purchase additional tickets.

Brad: Kart is for sale so I'm not driving it so the tires stay in good shape.

Iain: we wore out most of our tires a few weekends ago at our regional. We might have enough to make it through the next regional. And we just got 2 sets for nationals......so no more $$$

Not at the Divisionals, National Tours or National Championships. There is a Tire class at the Divisionals this year, but ST* cars are not eligible since their PAX is already based on street tires.

I'm amazed how many locals are skipping this event. We have more Tire entries in regional events, just three entries in ES, and don't get me started on BS. Is it just because it's a two-day event, the heat, both...?
