    Question Coax (RG11) compression tool

Anybody have one of those types of tools that I can borrow? I need to replace some coax connectors and don't want to use the cheesy thread-on type.

Something like this is what I'm talking about -

That's not bad. $35 is easier to take than $100 just for the tool. Thanks!

I would go check out Tanners Electronics in Farmers Branch and see if they have one.

Home Depot, I think, had the tools for $30 in the electrical section.

Fry" has some as well including this one.

IIRC, there is only a thin connection between Frys.com and Frys stores. They have a contract with Outpost.com to give them the web presence, but there is no connection between what they have in the store and what Outpost sells under their name. For items that are available in store and online, the price is usually different.

Sounds like the Fry's typical bull.

They own Outpost, it's not a contract. If Wikipedia is to be believed anyways.

Thanks Magma. I think I'm going to get that set from HF and see if that works for me. If not, I'll let you know.

I actually have one of these for HD local channels. I'm experimenting with something else.
