Default B&W 802's are in the house...

I finally sold off enough old stereo stuff to buy 3 of these . Plus a Lexicon MC-12B. Now all I need is some amps to drive them all .

Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

I agree that SOME speakers can be built to get close to the originals in sound, but can you build one that looks as sexy? Clones of the ProAc, Watt Puppy or Statements may sound close, but they are still clones. Just like a real Cobra or a Kit car Cobra?

I'd agree with you there. The 802's are beautiful and pics never do them justice. Those take an expert.

I wanted to be outside the box on the last set of MTM towers I built and used 180* curved tops with the cabs veneered in a highly figured anigre.

Hmm. This site doesn't upload pics?
