The tube mounts on the end of the MAF sensor. Racing Beat is a good choice, it moves the filter away from the exhaust system.

hmm... so I am looking for a cheap intake, nothing special. A lot of what I am finding is just a tube with a filter on the tip! where am I supposed to attach the sensor if there is no place to put it? or if you have any recomendations on intakes let me know.![]()

Yeah but the aluminum tube heats up from the exhaust. Plastic is a better way to go. Actually the Randall Intake is the best bang for the buck to introduce cold air into the motor. Not sure who sells it now.
