Thread: Miata Technologies strikes again!

    Default Miata Technologies strikes again!

Sometime between 9PM Saturday night and noon Sunday, while the miata was parked in my driveway someone placed this under my windshield wiper.

Seemed kind of strange that they would be trolling for business so far away in the neighborhoods of Colleyville.

Just hang on to the card and if someone really pisses you off, leave it under their windshield wiper...

    Exclamation Miata technologies

What's the deal with Miata Technologies? Does anybody have any first person stories to tell. I had my car worked on there once. I had to take his word for things. I had a feeling things weren't totally kosher, but the car ran fine after being repaired there.

Where is a good place to take an early car for maintainance/repair in the Dallas area?

Read through this post as well. Several mentions of other people on the forum who have used this guy.

In the Dallas area, call Gary with Track Dog Racing. Long time supporter and friend to many on this board, and one of the best sources of Miata knowledge in DFW.

If you're a little further west, contact Stevan Boyd with Miata Solutions near Texas Motor Speedway. Same as Gary above, but he's also got a hangar full of cool hot rods and planes.

The biggest problem with MT is (sorry I decided to delete my comment to protect the innocent meaning me...)

At TDR we stock about $100K of Miata only inventory including engines. Our guarantee is that if you are not happy then we are not happy. Miatas are a passion and every car is treated like it was our own. Now back to your regular scheduled program.

I have horror stories to with MT, as I joined Lone Star Miata club back in 2000 and was first introducted to Tom. and I am not just talking about a gauge cluster either.

Hi Gary, hope you are doing well. Good to know there is Gary and Steven around for something I don't want to mess with.

    happy trails

If your car was parked in your driveway, well up from the street, I'd shoot the perp that placed the card on your car. The TX castle law protects you.

    Yea here's their link:

Brett and Bill are pretty busy organizing Miata World II so there's not much online activity there. I did last months Sunday run with them and it was a good turnout; nine cars I think.

As for whom recommended Miata Technologies I'm not sure but that group is a bit older on average and probably don't do much wrenching themselves. I doubt anyone would intentionally recommend MT knowing how 'ed up that company is.

That is no lie; I passed a Miata today on Central near Walnut Hill with one of their plate frames on the back of the car.

This morning, soon after peeking at this thread, a Miata owner from my apartment complex stopped me on my way out and asked me about where to get some clutch work done...and mentioned Miata Technologies. I about burst out laughing the timing was so perfect. Poor gal. I gave her the number for TDR's intergalactic headquarters.
