I found this little contest at Angelo's bar b que and will be there to play 2 songs tonight....if I win the vote I get to open up for an act at 8.0's.
8.0's is a place I have trying to get into for like 10 years with no luck.
Anyhow if your gonna be out eating tonight might as well come to Angelo's and throw your hat in for brotha Blaze. music starts at 6:30

I will bring some CD's with me just in case.

I have listend to Billy's CD a few time since I got it last week. Really good stuff. I MIGHT make it out tonight. I've got to do some work on the house, but it would be worth the drive back into town. Voting was around 8-8:30, so even if you don't get to hear Billy play, maybe come by and vote. Basically, 8-12 people play 2 original songs and the the crowd votes. However brings the most friends wins.

FREE Beer and BBQ should bring them in. Heck I might just skip the chores and show up
