Norton 360 V.2 screwed up my FireFox V.3

Well I got a Norton automatic update to 360 and version 2 has really messed up my FireFox browser. The URL histories are jumbled and the keystroke fill ins aren't working now. Used to be I would type in the boxes just a few letters at most and firefox would remember and fill in the rest. More often visited sites would stay near the top of the url history list but not now.

I've uninstalled Norton and now I'm going to uninstall/reinstall FireFox.

Norton 360 is trash. I uninstalled it and got a refund. Went with AVG.

i'm trying avast right now and not a problem yet, also used avg for about 2 years and liked it but ver. 8 messed up my xp partition and backups =(

Got my browser working now. Undecided about reinstalling my 360.

Ive been using avast for 2 years now and it has alerted me of threats multiple times and removed a few viruses. I've been impressed since it's free.

I'm using Trend Micro Internet Security 2008.

This Vista machine runs MUCH better with this software than with that crappy Symantec/Norton scheiss. It takes less memory and less CPU cycles and does a much better job.

I have been using avast for 4-5 years and have had no problems ,have used trend micro which is good too
