    Default FS: 2000 Miata LS 5speed

    I put this add up a month or so ago, now updated with lower price and engine test numbers:



    Basics:
    Miata LS
    109,000 miles
    Black
    5 speed
    AM/FM/CD/Cassette
    Cruise Control


    Body/top:
    - shines up nice, however some scrapes.
    - there is a "slight push in" by the passenger side front fender where it meets the bumper. Almost like someone backed into it. It is not as severe enough for me to call it a "dent" but it is noticeable.
    - comes with OEM appearance package (lip, skirts, etc.)
    - lower lip has a slight crack
    - one fog light has a cracked cover. works, but cover is cracked
    - top doesn't leak, but the seams are fraying
    - one cap is missing on the windshield washer, therefore bolt is exposed. Purely cosmetic.
    - Carfax comes back clear for accidents and I haven't had an accident in the car since I purchased it in the fall of 2008

    Interior:
    - seats are holding up surprisingly well
    - steering wheel's rim has slight scratches in it, like previous owner had some sort of cover
    - carpet is perfect
    - non-stock Autozone mats
    - CD and Cassette (never tried a cassette), Bose sound system sounds great
    - fake wood accents on trim

    Drivetrain/suspension:
    - replaced water pump, timing belt, all coolant hoses, all new fluids (oil, transmission, brake, clutch, coolant, differential, washer fluid), new axle seals.
    - new small and large shifter boots (these are always ripped on most Miata's)
    - new clutch slave cylinder
    - new generic brake pads (came on the car when purchased)
    - each wheel has one mismatch lugnut (I think previous owner had wheel locks)
    - stock wheels with new (as of fall 200 Fuzion tires
    - I am assuming stock shocks and springs
    - K&N lifetime air filter
    - Engine burns regular oil at a rate of 1 Qt / 1000 miles or synthetic oil at a rate of 1 Qt / 300 miles
    - when cold a slight hesitation at 2800 rpm to about 3200 rpm
    - there is a rattle above idle (muffler ?? catalytic converter? not sure, when shake exhaust no noise, passed emissions)
    - Test numbers

    Cyl 1: 175psi 8% Leak
    Cyl 2: 165psi 18% Leak (intake and exhaust)
    Cyl 3: 178psi 16% Leak (exhaust)
    Cyl 4: 170psi 10% Leak

    W/o engine problems I would consider it Good; KBB:$6K
    W/ engine problems I consider it Fair; KBB: $5375

    I'll sell it for $5,000 obo.
