Default Anyone feel the earthquake last night?

We felt it here in Euless. I was up last night laying on the floor, finishing carving my pumpkin and bam, the floor felt like someone hit the house with a truck or something, except no noise. Shook the windows and lights a little bit. My wife and I felt 2 or 3 aftershocks. Scared the crap out of me, I couldn't think of anything that could make the ground move like that...never thought it was an earhquake...wow.

Wow... you really felt a 3.0 earthquake? I am surprised. Growing up in California, 3.0s happened all the time, but I never felt them. It would usually have to get in the low-mid 4s before I would feel it during the day, and I have slept through earthquakes in the 5s.

I didn't feel it... I was at work at the time, and was sitting at the desk (I work in south Grapevine now).

No one else I know felt it either. I guess since I was laying flat on my stomach on the floor it why I felt it. It was exactly 12am when it happened, and I know I felt te floor move. I have never felt anything like that before. The sounds we heard later were like thunder booms, or like an AC system turning on, pretty quiet. We were in bed for those so I didn't feel anything, they could have been something else, but im positive I felt the one at 12.

If you think that was like nothing you had felt before, you need to try driving your car down the road during a 6.9. THAT was fun. Nothing like seeing 2 foot high asphalt waves rolling toward you!
