Changed the departure time from 6 to 5pm at DQ in Ferris due to earlier sunset. Forgot the clocks were set back an hour.
Anyone interested in going to the Galaxy Drive-In Saturday night on the 8th is welcome to come. We'll be leaving from the Dairy Queen in Ferris TX on the west side of Interstate 45 at around 5 pm. We'll be taking a run from Ferris thru Rockett thru Palmer and around a golf course into Garrett (not a round of golf so leave the clubs at home). We should be at the drive in before sunset so plenty of photo ops available for those that want and good spot selections before the 8pm start of the films.
The double feature most voted to see is screen 4 with Role Models followed by Pride & Glory, however feel free to watch whatever you want. Pets are welcome and lawn chairs too. The house speakers aren't very loud so you may want to bring a portable radio or headset if you're not sitting in your car. No glass containers and no switching screens midstream. They say no coolers but they don't search cars or open trunks so use discretion. One snack bar so lines can be long especially at intermission.
Should be lots of fun and good weather but may be in upper 50's by end of second feature so bring blankets. Anyone who is running a little late to Dairy Queen or can't find it can call my cell at too won for nine nine for nine nine 6 oh. You can also meet us at the drive in which is just north of Ennis on the west side of 45 at around exit 255 I believe.

Was a fun night. We had a brisk romp thru the countryside and got to the galaxy around 6pm. Long line to get in due to an early showing of Madagascar. Had 2 NC's from the area that had some really cool stripes and another NC from Houston area. BR, Snowdoggie, Carazzie and myself were the rest.
