    Monroe Strut Assembly - Sensa-trac
    1990-1997 Mazda Miata

I am looking to buy new but don't have the cash right now.

Like these Monroes. I was hoping someone had pulled the whole stock strut assembly to put on fancy race ones and had no use for the stock ones.

What these goobers are trying to tell you is that the Miata does not use struts. They use coil over shocks. The site you quoted is labled wrong.

I have the ones off my 94 but I seriously doubt you want them. I pulled them off because the shocks were trashed.

Yep... OEM Miata shocks don't seem to last very long. I replaced mine at about 70k miles and they were all shot.

If you can get a hold of the shock by the weekend of the 22nd, this thread may be of interest. If you had the funds, eBay has some reasonably priced shocks for the front or sets of all four shocks. I ordered from the company from the links last Monday, and the shocks arrived Friday.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks guy. I am a foreigner in a foreign land. Heck when I make paper copies I still call it Xeroxing a copy. Not truly correct but even the short bus rider under stand it. Please forgive my lack of Miatanize.

My experience with the GR2 is they suck. The KYB AGX for a few more dollars gives a much better ride.

I found this on eBay. Don't know anything about them, never dealt with them, but they may have what you are looking for, and appear to be local. Hopefully they have shocks that aren't leaking like one in the picture seems to be.

    I agree about the AGX.

I have a set of Tokico's (Blue) that have about 50,000 miles on them and I believe they have more miles to give. T'is the season to be charitable so they would be free.
