Default Holy Shit a new post! I know!

I should have searched and found a post from 2007 or 2008 talking about a rain event but I was just lazy and weak.... I'm so sorry....

It rained on me on the way to work this morning! The streets were all moist and damp it was crazy!

Yep... rained here for 10 minutes this morning. Everything was dry and parched again 20 minutes later.

It rained at my house as well and it made me 15 min late for work as I waited for the streets to dry since my car is clean.

I just missed the rain this morning, but I was able to get few nice tail slides on the way to work before it dried out completely.

Not a drop out here Woke up to storm clouds, thunder, and my fiance said she saw a lot of lightning on her run this morning, but not a drop of rain.

I love how the news/weather people made a big deal out of the 10-20% chance of rain thing. On the east coast, every day has a 10-20% chance of rain, that's pretty much their default. Was a bit of a funny culture shock to hear everyone cheering for that tiny little percentage (and I admit I was too...which is odd as well).

Well when you've had a summer like we have, I think you'd get cheers for just the hope of a cloudy day in the double digits.

Definitely. I saw the "10-20% chance of rain" thing on the weekly forecast on TV and laughed that they would even bother to put that. But then I remembered that I no longer live where there's always a chance of rain. It was nice taking the dogs to the vet at lunch and it only being 88° at the time, gotta admit that.
