Damnit... why didn't I think of this already.
I've gotten one of those. The pictures were so clear I paid it. Sad thing is now at that intersection, I've heard screeching brakes behind me because I refuse to run the yellow. Thankfully I haven't been hit, yet.......
Maybe they don't sent the pictures out in that state, because if it wasn't a black miata in those pics I would've fought it.

I recently got a red light ticket in the mail for the Murano I sold a few months back. The ticket was dated a full month after the car was sold, but it seems that the computers had not been updated with the new ownership info at the time. I have the choice of driving 70 miles round trip to the Dallas county courthouse to get it cleared up or paying a local notary to notarize an affidavit stating I no longer own the car. Either way, it is going to cost me money to get out of it.After the rude treatment I got calling them and trying to explain how I didn't feel it was fair that I had to pay to clear up something that was not my fault, I considered writing a letter to class action happy law firm.
I heard recently that the supreme court of Texas ruled the red light cameras to be illegal.
might want to dig for info on th ruling and case # and fight it.
I will see what I can find too.
Oh, just read the article in the link you posted....lol
anyway the above info might help someone with a real ticket, if you can find the ruling and case #.
