Thread: NPR website is infected

    Default NPR website is infected

    w00t!

I hope you guys & gals haven't gone there in the past couple of days.

They have a .js file that your browser will try to automatically download and execute. "Worm/Feebs" which is a nasty little rootkit.

My wife's PC is running AVG and it popped up several alerts. She called NPR's office in Washington. They said that they "have been working on it since 9am" but I do have to wonder WHY they haven't taken parts of their website offline rather than risk infecting people.

Because its NPR, common sense does not apply.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...
