    Default Thanks AJ!

Well, AJ came through yet again. After the local NTB tried to charge me $127.50 (!!!) to mount and balance a new set of track tires, I made the trek over to Grapevine and AJ took care of me.

Thanks again, buddy! I just wish you worked closer to Plano!

How much does AJ charge? I need to get a set of tires swapped over to a different set of wheels, but the price has put me off as of yet......

The best thing to do is PM him or call him. I am not sure if he wants a price putout on the web

BAM! has exceeded their stored private messages quota and cannot accept further messages until they clear some space.

That kinda rules out PM as a good way of contacting him, so how should I get a hold of him.

Yes, most tire shops will charge the shit out of you to mount anything over 17" wheels, anything with sidewall lower than 50 profile, or anything that is runflat or competition. If you have ever installed tires yourself, you would have some understanding as to why they charge more.

That said, I have already make it known in several posts to make sure I am working ahead of time at the NTB in Sachse. I can hook you up and usually my store manager will too. My so so service manager will not. BTW, I mounted a set of 325/30/19 Hoosier R6's for a Corvette friend for just $11 a wheel!

I know thats an option, but I'd rather have someone i can trust do it. There's a chop in oak cliff next to my buddy's paintshop that charges like $10 a wheel..... but They don't speak english, and i dont want it shimmying.
