Sadly, we did have one problem that reared it head this morning.

We cannot be running and revving our cars in the building. This caused me some discomfort this morning. I have assured the owner of the building this will not happen again, and he has assured me if it does there will be ramifications for my guests’ actions.

I'm sorry to hear that, POS. What specifically was the problem with running the cars inside the building? We can't be any louder than the dance music thumping through the walls from next door.

I apoligize for the miscommunication. We told POS nevermind when we found out you had to go back to the house. I assumed he told you as well when we stated to him we would need to go before you got back and did not want to cause you the hassle. You know what they say about assumptions though.... I do appreciate your troubles and apoligize for any inconvience and misunderstanding. I hope this has no bearing on any relationships I have or will have w/ any of you guys.

Think the smell was a bigger concern than the noise......

Well as onething said I was pleased to see how clean the place was once everyone went home!

One thing I’d like to modify for our January tech extravaganza:

I think we could have gotten more done in less time if we knew in advance what you were wanting to do to your car. I honestly didn’t expect around 14 cars to show up even thought I got a few more PM’s than that asking for directions. But if we could group them in by what the need I’d bet we could have gotten more accomplished in less time.

We are going to do the PM system again, and I’d appreciate it if those of you who attended kept our undisclosed location undisclosed to the general public. The PM’s worked great in getting me an idea on who was going to show! If the undisclosed location becomes disclosed, tech days sponsored by me will be but a fond memory.

There were a couple of things that were left here if you left something behind PM me and we will see what we can do to get you your lost items returned!

Onething, you are correct, having fun is one thing but not always necessary or correct. I retract my previous post about the monkey.

Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

You sir, were the butt of too many of my jokes during the day. To you, the pizza was free from further payment. Beyond that, my only glimmer of a prayer is that your feet are not faster than I have estimated. As POS told me at the end of the day, "I don't want to be around if he ever gets tired of your jokes and goes " He's right.

After all the junk that we report on the news about what people do to each other in this world, believe me, there is nothing that could upset me coming from friends like you guys. [soapbox on] I believe that if folks had more to do than just steam over life's troubles, there wouldn't be so many people try to bump everyone else off the planet.[/soapbox off]

Thanks to everyone for a fun Saturday afternoon. I got to flush my brakes and change my tranny oil. BTW, I checked my manual once I got home and the 6 speeds take 1.9 qt, 5 spds take 2.1 qt. So that's confirmation that I did it right, well that and shifts really well now!

I hope I'm not expected to have everyone's names memorized, I suck at that.
