I had alot of fun! I need more practice though. Here is a video of my runs. Thanks to Mk2mr2 for letting me use his camera mount.

Nice HD video apex. The rest of you guys can stop posting video now...
I helped out at the school the previous day, as I convinced a co-worker to come out and give AX a try. Unfortunately, neither he nor I could join the fun on Sunday.

That is pretty good video quality. How come you dubbed the sound of a blender on top of the video though![]()

Does anyone have a MaxQLog from this weekend they can send me? I think I'm just all sorts of messing up with late braking and poor acceleration.

Yeah. I saw a Vimeo vs. YouTube HD comparison somewhere a few months ago. They were very close in quality, but people who are a little bit more serious about their videos tend to stick with Vimeo. I think the community there, as a whole, is more interested in the quality of what they put out there.
Was your camera mounted to your seat back? It's almost impossible to get a non-shaky video that way, unless you have fixed-back seats.

In my WRX I used to use a chase cam suction cup mount stuck to the inside of the rear window. That worked out pretty well and was rock solid.

The camera I'm using now is tall... and it causes a lot of headaches. I'll figure something out and will eventually spend more money than it would have cost to do it right in the first place.
'cuz that's how *I* roll![]()
